Diabetes Norfolk (previously called the NDT) is a Registered Charity founded in 1987 by Mrs Elsie Bertram MBE and Dr Richard Greenwood, a local diabetes specialist.
The charity is funded purely by the kindness of public donations, gifts and legacies. Over £2.5 million has been raised since its inception. Our Trustees – who either have diabetes or a connection with diabetes – include legal and accountancy experts, clinical specialists and local business people.
We operate exclusively within Norfolk, and will potentially fund projects that improve the care of people with diabetes in Norfolk.
Please note we are a charity but unable to offer medical advice.
